The Sector Log is a short solo journaling RPG where opening a booster pack becomes a story.

Using the cards from a single Star Wars Unlimited booster pack, you create a personal narrative set in a dangerous and unpredictable sector of the galaxy. Each card drawn represents an encounter, event, or moment of reflection as your character navigates missions, alliances, and threats in the Outer Rim.

Your journal becomes the record of a mission unfolding scene by scene — from tense negotiations and smuggler tricks to desperate battles and moments of quiet insight.

Every card choice shapes your path, while the cards you reject build a growing Shadow Pool that determines whether you escape the sector… or are consumed by it.

The result is a short cinematic story that feels like a lost episode of a Star Wars adventure.

What This Game Does

Opening a booster pack becomes the engine for storytelling.

Each card can represent:

• an encounter with a character
• a dangerous vehicle pursuit
• a sudden event
• a personal transformation
• a shift in the balance of power

The color aspects of the cards guide the tone of each scene:

• Authority — command, fleets, and bureaucracy
• Trickery — smugglers, deception, and survival
• Fury — conflict, chaos, and violence
• Insight — reflection, mystery, and intuition
• Light — mercy, hope, and heroism
• Shadow — corruption, greed, and oppression

Your story unfolds over eight turns, ending with a final reckoning to see whether your character escapes the sector or falls to its dangers.
